The low-pressure fuel circuit includes the fuel tank, two-stage fuel filter, fuel transfer pump, relief valve, and low-pressure pipeline. Its function is to deliver fuel at a constant pressure, providing a stable fuel supply to the high-pressure fuel circuit.
The injection module consists of an electronically controlled unit pump, mechanical injectors, and a short high-pressure fuel line. The electronically controlled unit pump is mounted directly on the engine block and driven by the engine camshaft.
The electronic control system is centered around the electronic control unit (ECU), which also includes various sensors such as the crankshaft speed sensor, camshaft speed sensor, intake air temperature and pressure sensor, cooling water temperature sensor, and fuel temperature sensor, as well as the wiring harness connecting them. Based on the information provided by these sensors, the ECU calculates engine torque, fuel injection quantity, and fuel start timing, and controls the solenoid valve of the electronically controlled unit pump.
