The DL08 diesel engine is a classic 7.6-liter inline six-cylinder engine from Doosan (now Develon), primarily used in medium to large tracked excavators.
It's most commonly used in 30-ton class excavators (such as the Doosan DX300LC/DX340LC). It's also used in smaller quantities in 20-30 ton class wheel loaders (such as the DL300), buses, and special equipment. However, in the construction machinery industry, mentioning the DL08 immediately brings to mind the heart of the Doosan 300 series excavators.

Even under the scorching summer temperatures of mines in the south, the water temperature remains stable. For routine maintenance, the diesel and oil filters are neatly arranged and easily accessible while standing on the tracks, saving mechanics time and effort.
