Daewoo DL08 engine is a high-performance diesel engine developed by DOOSAN of South Korea. The following will introduce its basic parameters, technical features, application fields and other aspects in detail:

Technical features
Fuel injection system: It adopts advanced common rail fuel injection system. The pressure generation and fuel injection are completely independent of each other. The fuel injection amount, injection time and injection pressure can be accurately controlled according to the working conditions of the engine, so that the fuel can be burned more fully, thereby improving the power output and fuel economy of the engine, while reducing emissions.
Turbocharged intercooling technology: It is equipped with turbocharger and intercooler, and uses exhaust gas to drive the turbocharger, increase the intake volume, improve the charging efficiency of the engine, and allow more air to enter the cylinder to participate in combustion, thereby increasing the power and torque of the engine. The intercooler cools the supercharged air, reduces the air temperature, increases the air density, and further enhances the performance of the engine. At the same time, it can effectively reduce the heat load of the engine and extend the service life of the engine.
Cooling system: It adopts forced circulation water cooling. The coolant is continuously circulated in the engine through the water pump to take away the heat generated by the engine and ensure that the engine works within a suitable temperature range. The cooling system is also equipped with a thermostat, which can automatically adjust the circulation path and flow of the coolant according to the water temperature of the engine to ensure that the engine warms up quickly and maintains a stable operating temperature.
Lubrication system: It adopts a fully forced pressure oil supply method. The gear oil pump driven by the crankshaft draws the engine oil from the oil pan. After being filtered by the oil filter, the pressurized oil is delivered to the friction surfaces of various moving parts of the engine to form an oil film, reduce wear and friction resistance, and also play a role in cooling and cleaning.
