Its intelligent temperature control system and multi-stage air filtration ensure stable operation in extreme temperatures of 45°C while meeting local emissions regulations.
According to Cummins's regional director for South Africa, this partnership represents a significant step in Cummins' expansion into the African market. These engines will directly serve mining projects and urban emergency power supply networks in northwestern South Africa, and are expected to increase equipment efficiency by 20% and reduce unit operation and maintenance costs by 15%.
