As a classic Cummins engine, the 4BTA3.9-G2, with its 3.9L displacement, 93kW rated power, and 450Nm peak torque, offers a perfect balance of power output and fuel economy, making it particularly well-suited for the harsh, hot, and dusty conditions of Africa. Its intelligent temperature control system and multi-stage air filtration ensure stable operation in extreme temperatures of 45°C while meeting local emissions regulations.

According to Cummins's regional director for South Africa, this partnership represents a significant step in Cummins' expansion into the African market. These engines will directly serve mining projects and urban emergency power supply networks in northwestern South Africa, and are expected to increase equipment efficiency by 20% and reduce unit operation and maintenance costs by 15%. In the future, Cummins will leverage its local service centers to provide customers with 24-hour technical support and parts supply, continuously promoting the green upgrade of construction machinery and energy equipment in Africa.
