The 6LTAA8.9-GM200 is one of Cummins' most reliable mid-range marine auxiliary engines, engineered for high-efficiency power generation on board. With its 8.9L displacement, turbocharged & after-cooled design, and outstanding fuel economy, the engine is widely used in cargo vessels, coastal workboats, harbor tugboats, and marine generator sets.
The client, a local marine engineering company, required an urgent replacement unit for their vessel's onboard generator system. After technical verification and parameter matching, the 6LTAA8.9-GM200 met all operational requirements.
